This is a Back-to-Basics Adventure
Our founder is an engineer who spends his life building cutting-edge technology. But the only way to stay sane (and keep real human connections) is to come back to earth every once in a while. So here there’s no fancy pool – the sea is our swimming pool. No gym, the farm and nature give us all the workout we need: raking olives, hiking the hills, planting trees, carrying crates… your body will thank you. No sauna, in a Naxos summer, the sun already does the job. Nature gives us everything we need. Learning to love what you already have… that’s where true happiness begins.

−The Beach House (up to 6 guests)
Your own private house on a 3-hectare beach-front estate, surrounded by close to a hundred trees, olive, fig, young citrus, pomegranate, plus our vegetable garden. No building in front of you, no neighbour peeking through your window, just the sea, the sky and the breeze.
−The Farmhouse (up to 10 guests)
Real countryside homes tucked inside or walking distance to the fields. We happily combine smaller groups so everyone can join. Higher, cooler spots may skip air-conditioning (they almost never need it), but we only use fully cooled rooms for July & August.
−Simple Hotels overlooking the farms (more than 10 guests)
Clean, comfortable, and perfectly placed. If you don't want a hotel, we can also split you across a couple of farmhouses so nobody misses the real experience.

DAY 1 – Evening: What do we do on the first evening?
We start by taking you shopping in Chora (main town) and Castro (the castle), where you can buy the most popular trousers worn by Greek men and women alike: classic American blue jeans. Seriously, if you live in Greece, you might think no other kind of pants even exists! We don’t sell cowboy boots (sorry!), but we do offer beautiful handmade leather sandals, crafted right in front of you, which you’re welcome to buy on the spot. Then we give you a sleek, modern matte-black hat with contemporary styling, the perfect finishing touch (sorry we don’t sell cowboy hats either).
DAY 2 – Morning: What happens on the horseback ride?
First we give you breakfast. Now fully dressed for the part, we bring horses to an old town road. You hop on and ride through roads and open fields (and, during low season, even along the beach). For lunch we head to a place where they cook on a simple outdoor grill for a proper Greek-style barbecue. Your morning ride and meal finish around 1:00 PM.
DAY 2 – Evening: What is the panigýri like?
In the original music video they head to a country hoedown and line-dance all night. Greece has its own version: the panigýri, a village festival where locals of all ages eat, drink and dance from around 11:00 PM until the last person staggers home (often around 8:00 AM!). Don’t worry, you’re free to leave whenever you want, but bring an empty stomach and plenty of energy!

Introduction
  • A 7-hour authentic Greek fishing-boat adventure (the one everyone says is the absolute highlight of the entire tour)
  • We set off early on a traditional wooden kaïki (greek fishing boat) and spend the whole day at sea with a real Naxian fisherman.

  • At least two remote, secret beaches or tiny uninhabited islands chosen each morning based on wind and sea conditions so we always aim for calm, crystal-clear water.

Why this title?
When you step onto the dairy farm, the reason for the title of this experience becomes instantly clear. Sheep do exactly what they’re told. Goats give the farmer daily headaches.

On this free-range farm the goats are free to roam as they please. Most of the time they come sauntering back for dinner, but every now and then one acts like a rebellious teenager who just turned eighteen: they vanish for a day or two, “finding themselves” on the hillside, and only return when they finally feel like it. Hence sheep go to heaven, and goats, metaphorically speaking, go to hell. Both make excellent cheese. In fact you’ll be making the world’s third best cheese, and tasting its second best during your visit.

How exciting is it to visit a cheese factory, on the island that makes 2 of the world’s 3 best cheeses?

The sheep go to heaven, the goats go to hell experience during Cheese-making season (December 1, September 30th)
  • Traditional breakfast in a taverna overlooking farmland
  • Luxury transport to the dairy farm (25,45 minutes depending on your lodging)
  • Feed goats and sheep, manually or with automatic feeders
  • For the daring: milk the goats manually or using automated equipment
  • Hike to the nearby ghost town of Skeponi, and optionally (if time permits) to Keramoti falls
  • Learn to cook a traditional goat or lamb kokkinisto (red cinnamon tomato sauce) with a classic Greek salad
  • Lunch with the farmer’s family: your own kokkinisto, wine and raki (a stout local liquor made from grapes), Naxos myzithra (soft cheese), arseniko (hard cheese), all made by the farm family
  • Fresh juices and seasonal fruit as well
  • Leave the farm around 2:00 PM
  • Make your own cheese (about 1.5 kg per person). It takes 28 days to cure, we ship it to you when it’s ready in personalized packaging.
Cheese-making Exception – Birthing Season
During October and November (goat & sheep birthing season), fresh cheese-making is not possible because the milk is reserved for the newborns. Instead, every participant receives a beautiful ~1.5 kg wheel of fully cured Arseniko cheese that we prepared earlier in the year — so you still take home the exact same prize!

What’s the vibe of this day?
One day. No phones. No laptops. Just quiet and the real world.
How do we get there and what happens when we arrive?
Leave your screens behin, luxury transfer (or a peaceful walk) drops you at a hidden family farm where the only notifications come from goats and birds.
What’s for breakfast?
Breakfast cooked over a tiny propane grill under the fruit trees, eaten slowly on old picnic tables with warm bread and creamy myzithra fresh from that morning.
What will we do on the farm?
Plant flowers, herbs or vegetables with your hands in the dirt, we’ll send you pictures as they grow, long after you’ve gone home. Pet goats, chase chickens, lie in the shade with your friends, nothing to do, nowhere to be.

What’s the vibe of this experience?
No schedule. No rush. Just you, the trees, and the sea whispering in the background. Stay at our beach house surrounded by 60 young, fruitful olive trees. Within thirty minutes of sitting beneath one, you’ll face the sweetest dilemma of your holiday: spend your free time staring at the endless Aegean… or surrender to the spell of the cool, silvery shade. Spoiler: the tree always wins. It’s that soothing. Your harvest, entirely at your own pace.
What does a typical day look like?
Breakfast with a view of the sea or the groves, whichever calls louder You rake the olives by hand, leaves brushing your fingers like tiny blessings. Rule of thumb: 2 people = 10 kg in 2 hours → that becomes 2 litres of liquid gold. Want 36 L from the beach-front plot or up to 50 L from the farmer’s grove? You decide how many blissful hours you gift yourself. When hunger strikes: classic farmer’s lunch under the trees, Greek salad, golden Naxian fried potatoes, perfect hard-boiled eggs, bread, cheese, olives, cured fish, or local sausage and endless wine.
What happens at the olive press?
When you’re ready (anytime within 4 days of starting) → You come with us to the ultra-modern automated press (you’re part of the magic). Watch your olives transform into liquid gold in real time, every step explained, crystal clear. Your oil flows straight from the centrifuge into your own bottles and labels, designed exclusively for you by a local Naxian artist (bottle shape + artwork – both unique to your harvest).
Your choice of lasting happiness
→ a full 60-minute physiotherapy session with a top Greek doctor (you’ll swear they’re the most underrated on earth) → or a luxurious 30-minute spa massage.
How long can I stay?
Come for two hours. Stay for four days. Harvest 2 litres or 50. The sea will wait. The olive tree, however, might not let you leave. Under the olive tree… this is the life.
